* A sex offender in Virginia, who had sex with his 14-year-old sister, is suing the state to keep his name and address off the internet (as part of Virginia’s online sex offender registry). * Judge James deAnda (S.D. Tex.), who as a lawyer litigated Hernandez v. Texas, the Supreme Court case holding that the equal protection clause prohibits courts from keeping Hispanics off juries, passed away at the age of 81. [New York Times]
