Congratulations to Ms. Monica Lewinsky!
America's SweeTart just graduated from the London School of Economics with an M.S. in Social Psychology. Interestingly enough, her LSE master's thesis was law-oriented: an examination of the effect of pretrial publicity on jury selection.
(Monica: Please don't treat that rolled-up diploma like a cigar. Thank you.)

I guess LSE doesn't require its masters' theses to be able to string two coherent sentences together.
Anon - What inside info do you have about Monica's intelligence level? Her social intelligence may be lacking, but is there any reason to think, as you contend, that she is unable to string two coherent sentences together?
On a less confrontational note, I have heard that LSE's standards for admitting Americans to these types of programs are not terribly high based on the big tuition dollars (converted to pounds sterling, I guess) such admissions bring.
1. I'm not sure that these are Monica's words. This may have been written by a co-author of the study (the person whose contact information appears at the end).
2. Monica can hardly be blamed for the unfortunate dominance of jargon and impenetrable writing within the academy. Non-lawyers would think that what we write is incoherent.
3. Obviously Monica made an error in judgment - a BIG one. But I don't think she's unintelligent. When I've seen her in interviews, she has been poised and articulate.
