This morning we closed the polls in our November 2006 Couple of the Month contest. And this was not, we’re sorry to report, one of our more exciting races. It was nowhere near as thrilling as last month’s competition, in which Katherine Dowling and Marc Axelbaum staged a dramatic, come-from-behind victory over Lori Alvino and Matthew McGill.
This month’s race was not even close. One of the four couples grabbed over half the ballots. Here are the results:

Some readers felt that Jennifer and Stephen deserved an even higher résumé score than the 9.3 that we gave them. But in the end, it didn’t matter. They won in a landslide!
