Résumé score: 7.8. Neither Kathryn nor John is a lawyer; we’ve included them because of a dearth of lawyer couples for this week (and because both of their fathers are lawyers). Kathryn is a Hamilton grad and first-grade teacher. John is an Ohio Wesleyan grad, who sells access to websites containing data about hedge funds.
Family score: 8.4. Her father is of counsel to an admiralty law firm; her mother is a special education teacher. His father is a partner in Drinker, Biddle & Reath (nice); his mother is an interior designer.

Résumé score: 8.6. She’s a Barnard grad (but her current occupation is unspecified). He’s a Tufts and Hofstra law grad, now at Schulte Roth & Zabel.
Family score: 8.1. Her father is a sales rep for a courier service; her mother is an ESL teacher in Queens. His mother is a resource specialist at a magnet school; his father is an assistant principal at a high school.

He’s a real estate lawyer and broker, a graduate of Queens College and Boston University School of Law. (Both are a bit older: she’s 54, and he’s 63.)
Family score: 8.5. Her father is the retied CEO of an ad agency; her mother is a retired high school music teacher. His late father was a cardiologist, and his late mother was an artist.

THIS WEEK’S WINNING COUPLE: Not a terribly exciting week. But then again, how many people get married the day before Christmas? The winning couple: ILYSE LANGER and STEVE METZGER. Congratulations!
