Why Do We Love the New York Observer So Much?

We previously praised Anna Schneider-Mayerson’s great reporting. But we must also give props to the graphics team at the Observer, whose handiwork is shown above. Nice work, guys!
Random observation: David Braff and Eric Krautheimer look much younger in this photo montage than in their S&C headshots. Heck, Krautheimer looks halfway cute. But the expression on his face says, “I’m a nasty, sadistic SOB.”

I would argue that Krautheimer looks more like a pouty toddler who didn't get a new toy.
How did you miss the Bergdorf and other fashion items mentioned in the Observer article in your fashion recap? You're slipping Lat.
Look at the title of Lat's post: "Part 1." Presumably there's a Part 2 on its way - a Part 2 that might include outerwear.
Lat cited the Observer's comment on Fashman's pocket square. So presumably he noticed the reference to Stillman's overcoat as well.
Krautheimer looks like a total tool. His face (and his alleged attitude) screams "Hey, I went to Western New England Law School and now I have a big chip on my shoulder about it because they made me sell my body to get a job at S&C"
That reminds me - Loyola 2L - here is someone you can draw inspiration from -just start acting like a nasty little troll and you too can get a job at Biglaw from a no-name law school.
Charles Stillman makes Rodge Cohen look like a spring chicken. Also, I LUV the Alex Korry headshot.
Korry looks so nice, like she's going to bake you cookies if you work with her. It's funny to think that she's evil incarnate (if the earlier reader comments are accurate).

That school is like 7th tier.

According to the firm website, S&C hired Krautheimer in 1994, the same year he got his L.L.M. in tax from NYU. Presumably, he did well enough at both schools.
Because sometimes stars from lower ranked schools really are as good as students from a top 20 school.... then there are those like this L2L clown.

You hit the nail on the head. That's the key to the whole case, in my opinion. Munich, 1972. It just makes sense.
Am I missing something? What's the deal with Korry and Prefontaine?
Note that Braff is a graduate of Ohio State Law School
As a young girl, Korry was at the Olympics in 1972 and was a big Pre fan. She used to comment on it constantly to her associates. So much so that many of her deals had code names that related to Pre somehow. There's a reference to Prefontaine in the Complaint and that Journal article that Charney doesn't even know exists.

As most S&C people would, I picked up on that (not sure if Charney would or not). I think your back story might not be right (I don't think she was at Munich). I think the whole thing is a red herring rather than the key to the case but an interesting angle for understanding the whole dynamic.
