Writing About the Law: A Quick Linkwrap
We had a blast at last week's Writing About the Law conference, at New York Law School. And we weren't the only ones. Here's a (rather belated) round-up of conference coverage from the blogosophere:

As you can see from his post, Walter Olson was a social butterfly at the conference. We enjoyed sitting next to him at lunch, where we talked about -- what else? -- his famous neighbor in Chappaqua, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. Let the conversation begin!

Professors Jim Lindgren and Randy Barnett of the Volokh Conspiracy both spoke at the conference, but haven't really blogged about it. This VC post, from Professor Lindgren, includes a brief shout-out to Professor Althouse: "It was a pleasure to see Ann Althouse at the New York Law School conference yesterday."

You people are oversensitive idiots. Lat linked to that post b/c it mentions the NYLS conference and Ann Althouse. I don't think Lat gives a damn about McCain and Nazis (too substantive for ATL).

I think you guys are misreading the Lindgren post. Isn't he ATTACKING the liberals who are saying McCain = Nazi?
different subject, Lat's updated List of Shame doesnt include some firms like Squire Sanders and others anymore. I wonder if thats because they matched(i dont think they did) or because they dont have big NY offices, so supposedly they shouldnt be on the list to begin with. If its the second explanation thats right, then we have to get him to return them to the List of Shame
I dont think it matters if Volokh is criticizing the nazi analogy, its the fact that he publishes it is the problem. Reminds me of FoxNews' repeated airing of Girls Gone Wild ads in order to "criticize" them. yellow journalism, no matter what the spin is.
Hmmm... Althouse is kinda thrusting forth the boobage in this one... I thought that sort of thing was "anti-feminist" stuff only interns did...
