If you read the entire study, rather then just the salacious quote, you'll actually come away with the impression that Asians who online date (as opposed to many of the highly ethno-conscious, sexually protectionist inhabitants in law school) are the least racially biased of all online daters. I will not even begin to address how racist this "study" is but I will address a few glaring problems with it. First, the fundamental flaw with this so-called study is that it measures preferences in on-line dating. The likely reason the race preferences are skewed is because people who have to look for a date via the internet are a little more desperate and therefore less selective than the average person, especially with African Americans (everybody I know gets dates from #1 the club, #2 work (always a bad idea), #3 school, #4 church, and #5 hook up by a mutual acquaintance). On the other hand, the reason why the study finds that minority men, African American males in particular, require extra income to get a Caucasian female (as if we all want one) is probably because those women are gold diggers looking for an athlete or an entertainer. If you don't believe me, ask half of the NBA. Greg Oden, Kevin Durant, look out!

I didn't actually read the survey, but I did read the Volokh thread. But here was an interesting comment to that thread that argues that the inference that women demand that a man of other ethnicity make $X in order to be as desirable as a man of her ethnicity is overblown:
