Congratulations to Emily Pataki!
We realize we're rather late in writing about this. But considering our extensive coverage of her past exploits, we really must share this information with you, however tardy.
Here's the big news:
EMILY PATAKI HAS PASSED THE BAR EXAM!!
Guess the second time's a charm. Congratulations, Emily!
P.S. If you're wondering why we're bothering to write about this event, please read this post. Or click here, and scroll down through our Emily Pataki archives.
P.P.S. Some words of advice to first-year associates not-yet-admitted legal interns working at large law firms (e.g., White & Case, Stroock & Stroock & Lavan): If you're ever seized by the desire to send a firm-wide email, JUST SAY NO. Otherwise you'll regret it in the morning. We promise.
But if you decide to go ahead with that blast email to hundreds of your beloved colleagues, please cc your friends at ATL. We love nothing better than to receive (and post) career-destroying, or at least highly embarrassing, office-wide emails. Thank you.

Why call them law clerks? I don't follow.
"Law clerk" is one of the terms used to refer to not-yet-admitted lawyers who are working, in a legal capacity, at law firms.
It might be clearer, though, to call them "legal interns" (another such term). Lat, you might want to make this change.
Her email shouldn't be lumped-in with the Stroock email and others like it. Her email was not an embarassment, it just came on the heels of some embarassing news that she knew was going to spread.
For the record, you ATL folks have bad taste in women. Highly attractive? Are you kidding me? She's got a mouth like a grill on a Mac truck.
where is she working now? White and Case still? Whereever she is, I bet she doesn't have to work all that hard.
Emily is very pretty, I was in her class. That's a terrible picture of her.

yay emily! good for you--congrats!!

C'mon, her email was a classy way of dealing with a bad situation in light of her minor celebrity. The Strook email was a whole other matter.
12:39, who's the MILF in that picture with Emily?
Better? Yeah, that MILF is quite a bit better. 12:39 isn't very nice.
Chung is king.
Who is that? Wife of the Ambassador to Finland.

okay, she does look much better there.
but i still scold ATL, this time for choosing unflattering pictures of women to post.
2:38 - hello???? Hillary Swank is an ugly version of Hillary Swank. She's rubbish. How come nobody ever brings up the lifetime movies or 90210 at the award shows?
how on earth did I do that?
I'm off to the track.
She's like an ugly version of Hillary Swank.
Very horsey.
More gorgeous male attorneys posting about their subpar female counterparts.
Lat, I don't care what some of the ugler posts today on the Strook fiasco say, your "PPS" to Ms. Pataki, is REALLY FUNNY, as are your other allusions to Maury's e-mail........Any news of Acqua Girl?
"We love nothing better than to receive (and post) career-destroying, or at least highly embarrassing, office-wide emails. Thank you."
That's because you're an asshole.
Emily is gorgeous! She looks like Claire Danes. Haters.
