Even after this guy drops dead, Reed Smith will continue to pay summer associates more than first year associates.

The border agent knew and let him in anyway. http://www.nytimes.com/2007/06/01/health/01tb.html?ex=1338350400&en=b6bc909b4e7fd4d4&ei=5088&partner=rssnyt&emc=rss

Also from NYT -- "Cesare Fasari, a spokesman for Italy’s Health Ministry, said that had the Italian health officials been notified in time, they would have 'intercepted the man and invited him to be treated in a hospital' with his permission."

Italy, so gracious and polite, even to those with drug-resistant TB.

Has anybody else noticed how this guy is being attacked by the media and on internet message boards because he is a lawyer? I've seen comments on other comment pages saying things like "does it surprise anybody he is a lawyer?" and things like that. Am I the only person that this pisses off? I don't see what his being a lawyer has to do with this. WHen somebody does something stupid and I read about it in the news I don't look to see what their occupation is. But lawyers are always scrutinized.

I just like that his name is "Mr. Speaker", as if he serves in the House of Representatives. Glad he's not representing me...

No, being a lawyer had everything to do with what he did, because he was brazen enough to think he could somehow avoid detection.

7:57 am:

He sort of made his profession part of the story. Although he may be feigning remorse now, he told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution upon his quarantine in a Denver hospital:

"I'm a very well-educated, successful, intelligent person," he told the paper. "This is insane to me that I have an armed guard outside my door when I've cooperated with everything other than the whole solitary-confinement-in-Italy thing."

Attitudes like this are why people hate lawyers. He suggests that as an all-around above-average guy, he should somehow merit more trust from law enforcement than, say, your "average" street thug. Yet *despite* all his alleged intelligence and training he deliberately put more people in mortal danger than the majority of criminal defendants, and has the nerve to gloss over that fact as if "the whole solitary-confinement-in-Italy thing," designed to save people's lives, were a trivial detail. This guy *may* be more intelligent than average, but he is *definitely* more selfish.

Oh yeah, tier 2 grad who now does PI work with his dad. Must have gone through a very tough interview process for that prestigious job. And yes, he's cooperated with everything except for directly disobeying multiple instructions not to fly, to submit himself to Italian health authorities, and then sneaking his way back into the US through Canada. Other than that, he's a model citizen. What a stinking self-absorbed moron.

His wife is not hot. look at the photos without the mask. Also she has implants. If you look at her college photo from her website that someone posted earlier, she has no tits.
