Supreme Court Clerk Hiring Watch: OT 2008 (Update #2)
Here’s a quick follow-up on Wednesday’s post, reporting on Supreme Court clerk hiring for October Term 2008. That’s not the Term whose clerks will start showing up for work next month — the October Term 2007 clerks are listed here — but the Term after that.
Interestingly enough, the two justices thought most likely to leave the Court next, Justice John Paul Stevens and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, are both done with their clerk hiring for OT 2008. And we also hear that RBG has hired at least one clerk for OT 2009 — very CT-esque of her to hire that far into the future.
Thanks to everyone who submitted SCOTUS clerk hiring info, by email and in the comments. We’ve folded them into our evolving list of OT 2008 law clerks. Check it out, after the jump.
If you have more SCOTUS clerk hiring news to add, or a correction to anything appearing below, please email us (subject line: “Supreme Court clerk hiring”). Thanks.

That Cecelia Klingele sounds way cool. She was a foster parent all through law school! On Wisconsin!
Does someone who clerks for O'Connor still count as a SCOTUS clerk?
Someone who clerked for O'Connor never counted as a SCOTUS clerk.
Who is the fourth CT clerk? I hear he is done for OT 2008 (and has even hired someone for OT 2009).
Jessica Bulman-Pozen = most gorgeous SCOTUS clerk of the OT 2008 term.
...and probably the smartest, too.
Are you sure you have the correct Stevens clerks?
11:39, don't be coy.
Who is missing, or who shouldn't be there? Maybe some of them are for OT 2009.
Jessica Bulman-Pozen and Damian Williams are probably the nicest '08 clerks, too.
They're both wonderful people. Between them and someone who had foster kids all through law school, it sounds like Stevens' '08 term chambers is going to be ridiculously friendly.
Maybe 11:39 is on to something. That is a suspiciously high number of Garland clerks for one chambers.
Cecelia is a really great person. Good for her and good for Wisconsin Law
Only three Harvard kids? That is odd.
I agree with all the posters above. As a classmate of hers, I have to say that Cecelia really is a fantastic person. Even if she has beaten me out for clerkships in the past!
