Update on Supreme Court Clerks: Where Are They Now?
A few more updates from tipsters:
Edward C. Dawson, who clerked for Kennedy in OT 2003, is with Yetter & Warden, and according to our tipster is in the new Austin office.
Marc Allen, also a former Kennedy clerk, has reportedly gone in-house with Boeing, working for his old boss, Judge J. Michael Luttig.
Leondra Kruger, who clerked for Stevens in OT 2003, is a visiting assistant professor at the University of Chicago Law School.
The pattern of about half in private practice appears to be holding.

trying to find meaning in a Billy Merck post is like licking the sticky floor of Lotus trying to find yey
The problem with ATL's methodology is that the point of the survey is to find out the degree to which law firms have essentially been subsidizing public service by SCOTUS clerks. So from that point of view, telling us that so-and-so is now involved in public service means little unless we know that the clerk formerly worked at a private firm.
HOMEY DON'T PLAY THAT!!!
2:59 - that is, by far, the funniest comment I have ever read. I just had to shut my door to keep from embarrassing myself.
Leondra Kruger was previously at WilmerHale in DC.
I fail what this has to do with Jenner & Block. Back to the big issues, people!!!!

Meaghan McLaine, who clerked for Souter in 2005-06, is at OMM-DC.
What a fall from grace to be working as a drone in BigLaw after serving as SCOTUS clerk.
While certainly a step down, most former SCOTUS clerks don't get drone work at their firms. They are protected to a large extent from it.
