Weird Al Song Becomes Tort Reform Anthem
From the National Examiner:
The American Tort Reform Association has posted Weird Al’s “I’ll Sue Ya” on its Web site, suggesting that the tune be “adopted as a theme song by America’s personal injury lawyers.”“It’s been awhile since I’ve personally kept up with Weird Al’s work, but it’s nice to know he hasn’t lost his genius,” ATRA director of communications Darren McKinney said.
“Like all good comedy, Weird Al builds on a foundation of truth,” he added.
What foundation of truth, that there are too many lawsuits in this country, or that Korn sucks?
Check out the music video for Weird Al’s tune after the jump.

I think I just produced a tort in my trousers.

People always knock on Merck, and I've always stood up for him.
But today it is crystal clear that Lat is so far superior to Merck that perhaps he should not be allowed to write for this blog.
Merck: I have been a supporter of yours, but you lost me today. Today's posts sound like they were written by an 8th grader who lacks basic skills and wit.
Weird Al is a GOD!
Wierd Al was funny. Twenty years ago. I guess this is proof that he's lost his touch.
This sounds like it's trying to be a Rage Against the Machine spoof, Merck. You asshat.
Isn't it Rage Against the Machine, not Korn?
Definitely Rage. But also the worst Weird Al song I've ever heard. I mean, unbelievable.
"I sue Colorado, cause ya know, it looks too much like Wyoming."
Wow.
Are you kidding me? Weird Al stopped being entertaining or halfway clever when I was in middle school. Why don't we prop up Barney the dino as a spokesperson?
Here's a win for ATLA.
Anybody who's heard White & Nerdy or Trapped in the Drive-Thru knows Weird Al still has some juice on his fastball.
ATRA sucks.
Let's all take a moment to give a shit about 1:32 revoking his Merck endorsement.
Weird Al to 190!
(confesses to taking 12-year old son and his friend to a Weird Al "concert" last spring)
