"Crocs, kids and escalators a bad combination?"
I smell a class action.
hell of an affirmative defense

The only people who should be wearing Crocs are professional chefs, but only while on the job, clowns, but only while on the job and gardeners, but only while in their garden. These are not shoes that should be worn by normal people out in public. And they REALLY shouldn't be worn by fat people, especially in brigh colors. Have some respect for yourselves, people, wear real shoes!
Lerach to plead guilty in Milberg Weiss case.
This is huge.
escalators are the second biggest threat to america, after bears.
and if NY^2 can "sue Vioxx" for "wasting taxpayer dollars," does that mean Rahway, NJ can sue "the federal budget" for the same thing?
and how has NY^2 been injured...money that, but for medical expense deductions due to Vioxx prescriptions, would otherwise have increased tax liability?
How about a NY salary thread today? It has been over a month since there has been any discussion of movement from the $160k payscale. With a new year coming up, and first years just arriving, will anyone step up and raise NY salaries to where they should be - higher than the rest of the country?
ACLU's argument is great.
It is 1130 and there have been 2 posts today... One of which is the morning docket. What is going on with this site? Serious loss of quality in the past week. Hopefully we can find another theme song and/or video to put things back on track...
FYI - have worked on escalator litigation - it's not just the Crocs - there have been cases throughout the nation involving kids getting their feet mangled for years. that's why seatac has the red stripes painted on the sides of the escalator steps, and why lots of escalators have brushes on the sides. pisses me off how successful escalator companies have been at keeping a lid on this.
12:00: That totally turns my stomach. Something about poor little kids getting injured really bums me out. I guess I'm not unique in that.
10:28:
I think clowns could wear crocs. Crocs look like clown shoes.
