I saw the pictures on the news of the young lady involved in the airline tempest and even sitting down I don't think the skirt was that short.

And I am old enough to recall when airline stus were that young (now due to senority, layoffs and union rules, they are largely angry women in their 50's) and the unforms as short.

What's the big deal here?

She looked kind of hot in the photo, but then I saw the Today Show interview ... yikes. Not hot.

I'll admit that all I know about Enron is from the book Conspiracy of Fools, but the book painted Fastow as the bad guy- he personally oversaw all of the illegal operations and also siphoned off millions to his own personal accounts. Lay fiddled while Rome burned. Skilling was portrayed as fairly hands off, "I'm okay with it if our accountants sign off on it" attitude. With that perspective, it does seem pretty awful that Fastow gets five and Skilling takes the fall.

her skirt was pretty short -- after all, you can see her underwear as she sits down on the today show (and I'm sure she pulled up her shirt and down her skirt for that appearance). in any event, what exactly is she suing about? discrimination due to cleavage?

The key to the Southwest Airline story is that it was a "male flight attendant" who objected to her outfit. A heterophobic male flight attendant?

I was embarrassed ... so embarrassed that I went straight onto national TV.
