Breaking But Not Surprising News: Judge Refuses To Let Craig Unplea
CNN is reporting that the Minnesota judge presiding over Larry Craig’s case has refused to let him undo his guilty plea stemming from his “wide stance” episode in a Minneapolis airport bathroom. The judge said that the plea was “knowing, voluntary, and intelligent.” We question the intelligent part, but we know what he means.
So will he leave the Senate now?

I always find it interesting that some of the biggest gay bashers are closest pole sniffers. I asked a couple friends fo mine who are gay if they ever pulled that bathroom stunty. They were offended and said it was not common at all.

Heh. Craig is fucked. The judge's opinion (available on the AP's website - can't link here because Lat filters any comments with URLs in them) is pretty solid. Craig had zero chance to withdraw the plea anyway, but the opinion leaves no doubt about it.
