A number of at my firm wondered what Comedy Central would do about the campaign laws regarding S.C.'s presidential run. It raises more peculiar issues than USA's decision to not show L&O that has Freddy in it.

Can we get back to the guy who had a three way with the client and his gf? I just got around to reading this thing - he ALSO had a three-way with ANOTHER CLIENT AND HIS WIFE and a THIRD THREE WAY the wife of a client IN A DIVORCE PROCEEDING. This snippet is nice - PK and KK were the husband and wife who had a 3way with this guy. KS is the wife/exwife of the divorce client.

The referee also found, based on the testimony of P.K. and K.K., who were living on Attorney Inglimo's property and were in his home watching a movie on the relevant date, that Attorney Inglimo and K.S. returned to Attorney Inglimo's home late one evening, immediately went into Attorney Inglimo's bedroom, and did not leave the bedroom until morning. The referee further found, based on Attorney Inglimo's admission, that he engaged in a three-way sexual encounter with K.S. and another woman within two weeks after M.S. fired him in August 2002. The cause of the firing was M.S.'s belief that Attorney Inglimo and K.S. were seeing each other and that Attorney Inglimo was not being loyal to him.

And what I like best is that the disciplinary board, apparently, was like "Inglio, did you diddle your client's wife?" - and this dude replies "And her friend." Way to own it.

And here in biglaw we consider flu shots a perk.

The judge didn't tell the SEC lawyer to shut up; covington was the lawyer for one of the defendants.

Judge Mullen published a great law review article last spring comparing the federal sentencing guidelines to a vampire. I've liked him since then, and this episode only cements that impression.

I think Covington was talking and Pappas (SEC lawyer) was trying to stand up and say something, in the background. So Judge Mullen asked Covington to excuse the interruption so he could tell Pappas (SEC lawyer) to sit down and shut up.
