You know this blog is going downhill when a Merck post is like a breath of fresh air.

Libby dropped his appeal because he's guilty, guilty, guilty, and none of his cronies are in a position to help or protect him anymore. Might as well get it over with.

Enjoy the country club jail, Mr. Libby. Don't worry, they'll give you a right-wingnut radio talk show once you get out. Just ask G. Gordon.

write something interesting instead of reposting someone else's storys. It's finals time, so many law students will be checking your blog much more than usual. Step your game up SON.

10:01 - The other path that Libby could follow would be to become a born-again Christian prison minister, a la Charles "Tex" Colson. But at least Colson had some real-life experience in that arena, since he, unlike Libby, actually did prison time; Nixon didn't have the balls to pardon anyone involved in Watergate, leaving that dirty work to Ford.

10:47, fuck off. All I said is that Libby could become a born-again prison minister even though he has no prison experience. I never implied that Libby actually went to prison.

"Enjoy the country club jail, Mr. Libby." No implication of prison time?

And, um, forgot what time you posted, and implied that Nixon should've or politically could've pardoned everyone involved in Watergate, then resigned. Nice post.
