Good point about the Hoover memo, Lat. I can't imagine what the world would be like if the United States suspended habeas corpus and summarily detained individuals based on a hunch...

Lat, the CNN article sucks. What novel or important legal issues arose out of the Anna Nicole Smith case? There's got to be a better list out there somewhere.

12:47 - which sux more, being stuck at work on Xmas Eve or being at home all alone with noting better to do than post to ATL?

Being unable to spell a five-letter word correctly is worse than both.

Had a pretty good year so far - hit my hours, worked on good projects, only one all-nighter. Then, on Christmas weekend, I get slammed with a colossal, bullshit project that I am severely unqualified to complete, DUE BEFORE NEW YEAR'S!

Now, my family is having dinner with friends, and I am left behind to familiarize myself on all kinds of strange securities. Fuck. This. Shit.

Fucking godless clients and their ridiculous demands. UGH.

I feel your pain, 8:37. Goddamn obscure securities shit.
