So what if someone takes your DNA. If you didn't do anything wrong, and don't plan on doing anything wrong or illegal, then you have nothing to be afraid of. I wish that pinko paper would stop stirring the fury among their comrade readership.

Still loving Monica Goodling, Lat? Still a diva? What exactly does one have to do to be moved from the "diva" category to the the "miserable excuse for a human being" category?

The only thing more frustrating than her not being strung up by her thumbs for "crossing the line" (instead being allowed to resign w/ some modicum of dignity), is the certain knowledge that Bushies and other GOP loyalists will keep her gainfully - even luxuriously - employed for the rest of her life. In fact, she'll be a minor celebrity on the GOP rubber chicken circuit. The Rush Limbaugh of governmental HR. A fundraising tool for candidates who'll invite her to stump for them and quietly whisper to the base: "Support me, and I'll hire a whole cadre of Goodlings to clean out Washington!"

Hell, she'll probably eventually get Katherine Harris's safe congressional seat in Florida.

You know, making a crude reference ("girl on girl action) to the sexual activities of a lesbian is juvenile. Believe me, I am about as far from politically correct that one can get, but I find it demeaning to reduce this woman's sexual activities to "girl-on-girl action". I doubt seriously that she would appreciate that, and I don't think that working for DOJ and being a lesbian should open her up to that kind of dismissive snark (and I understand that the thrust of the comment is directed towards the DOJ's action, not her). If the rumors are true, then I am sure that she is very hurt--a little sensitivity for a fellow human being may be in order.

And believe me, to offend my sense of decency takes a lot.

SPO: It seems paragraph 1 directly contradicts paragraph 2.

Also, a complaint that a headline on this tabloid blog is "juvenile"? Really? Have you READ this blog?

I would be happy to give Kash a DNA sample.

When you sit down and think about this "girl on girl action" comment and how it relates to this woman's orientation, it's very demeaning. I'm sure this woman, if the rumors are true, thinks that her sex life is more than just "girl on girl action". Couple that with the fact that many people in her community read this blog, and I'm sure there's some mortification as well. Now think about it, does this woman deserve that? Really?

The casual degradation of this woman's sexuality is not right. I find it distasteful and insensitive. Honestly, I think an apology is in order.
