who the f*ck cares how old Mukasey looks.
who the f*ck cares how old Mukasey looks.
AG Mukasey looks super-old, but at least his front office is fresh-faced.
I'm assuming by fresh-faced you mean "looks like a bunch of tools, plus that one chick you got drunk enough to sleep with at an office party who cried when you never called the next day."
How about some legal news? What's the new MoFo bonus structure?
What's the deal with the current and previous AGs' staffs being made up of generally well-credentialed but barely-out-of-diapers (comparatively speaking) wunderkinds?
They are no doubt smart, but I'd love to see a few gray-hairs in there.....
Lat -- please fix the search feature on this blog.
Lat- I'm not going to complain about the new blog layout. I can deal. What I do think you need to figure out is (1) how to get rid of this red. I agree with a previous commenter that it's annoying and distracting. (2) how to shrink down the size one single comment takes up. When you start posting on topical subjects again, a hundred or so comments will take a LOT of scrolling. (3) I miss your blue comment boxes. The bolding is simply not working.
You understand the silverware? Cuckoo! - Jay's dad.
David, this is excellent work!
Excellent work here!
New format = awful
Hey, is the little man-in-suit a Black man? If so, is he Black enough? You know . . . for president?
This site sucks. It's a total hackjob. No original material. Just a recycle of real news outlets. Whoever runs this should be ashamed. He or she has failed in life.
8:52, bad troll, but I'll bite: David Lat has done more before he was 25 than you ever will - that's almost guaranteed.
Signed by: We are mad at Lat, but he is still our homey
co-sign, 9:50 - - i'm even madder at Lat, but he remains my quasi-homey
Lat used to be good when he was pretending to be a woman. The only thing this blog is good for is looking over every once in a while in case I missed some weird case or stupid lawyer trick that ended up being posted here.
Kash could perhaps salvage this wreck, but she needs to learn how to utilize the incredible draw that an invisible blogging girl who has only been depicted once in a sort of weird, hazy photo that was probably taken in a dorm room somewhere while getting stoned can exert.
I shot 95% of the black guys and 10% of the white ones.
So wait, is there something wrong with having relations with a picnic table?
That's what I went to law school for, to advocate on behalf of the deprived, which the man seems to be.
Who are we to say he cannot have a picnic table in his life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.
And who has 3 DVDs of the man doing it - LOL -third times a charm...? (guy that made the 3 DVDs probably dressed in black with a tie on and looked like Darkman so the culprit couldn't spot him, oh wait, that just the new format...I think)
umm, not liking the new layout.
get rid of the anonymous suit guy. takes up too much space. Same with the comments, what used to be a line or 2 is now 5.
GO BACK TO THE OLD LAYOUT
I played the little shooter game that is supposed to test racial bias. I can't help but think it's a crock (and no, my score was not particularly revealing). By simply measuring reaction times, without calculating as to when you shot unarmed people inappropriately or holstered it on armed people, I think the game misses what could have been a more interesting set of figures. Also, I noticed that after I missed an armed guy, I was almost certain to shoot whoever the next person was, regardless of race or what they were holding. I hope the random generation of the images controlled for impulses like that, which I am sure are quite natural in most people.
The picnic table story is weeks old.
The red links are really starting to annoy me.
