Timestampgate Update: Where Is She Now?

Some of you may be wondering what happened to the ex-Snell & Wilmer associate who was involved in the Timestampgate scandal from last year.

Anyway, several tipsters wrote in to us to update us. If you followed the scandal and are curious, find out, after the jump.

From the May/June issue of the Utah Bar Journal (not available online):

On February 6, 2008, the Honorable John Paul Kennedy, Third Judicial District Court, entered an Order of Discipline: Suspension and Probation placing A.S. on suspension for a period of two years with a one year probation period to follow, effective March 7, 2008, for violations of Rules 3.3(a) (Candor Toward the Tribunal), 3.4(a) (Fairness to opposing Party and Counsel), 8.4(c) (Misconduct), 8.4(d) (Misconduct), and 8.4(a) (Misconduct) of the Rules of Professional Conduct.

In summary:
A.S. falsified a reply memorandum and a declaration due to the court by using the court's night drop box and date-stamping the first pages of the documents. She then edited the documents and filed them at a later date, which led the opposing party and counsel to believe that the documents were filed on the earlier date. The court discovered the back dated documents. After A.S.'s employer conducted an internal investigation and determined that the documents were edited after the date stamped date, A.S. misrepresented to her employer that she had filed the documents on the date of the date stamp.

As for what's A.S. is up to these days, we don't know. Maybe she moved to South Africa and had a baby?
