Description: A global investment firm seeks a talented professional to help manage the firm’s interactions with government, the media, and industry trade groups. The new External Affairs Associate will handle a variety of communications and government affairs-related tasks, ranging from developing communications strategies to monitoring and analyzing relevant public policy issues.

Skills required: Candidates should have strong project management skills, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and extraordinary attention to detail. At least three years of previous work experience is required, preferably in finance, public policy, or law. Associates will gain exposure to many areas of the firm and are expected to assume additional communications and policy responsibilities over time.
