There is a split of authority as to whether you're supposed to post "FIRST" on Morning Docket and Non-Sequiturs, or only on "substantive" posts (to the extent that ATL posts are "substantive").

How about 'pride of picking a blog with a title starting with AB so I can be first on alphabetized lists.'

There are at least two rocking, superior (tied) candidates for lawyer of the day:

The boob biting sexual misconduct Bar prosecutor--now facing sexual misconduct charges of his own--and the naked prosecutor (previously featured on these pages) who was captured on surveillance video roaming county offices naked--who has been given the green light to sue to get his job back.

Congrats to ATL on making the TTTop 100; "Criminal Justice Degrees Guide" is an ultra-prestigious directory of DeVry, Kaplan and ITT Tech campuses. I think they compiled this list by googling 'law + blog.' For example, #13 has only seven postings in the last six months. #45 hasn't been updated since January.

I think that this list of top blogs is a joke. They have "lagliv" up there but not "Ms. JD" -- come on! Also, they don't allow comments on the post so they are denying their "readers" (if they have any) of other more-informed opinions on this.
Congrats to ATL- an obvious shoe-in for any list of top law blogs.

For the uninformed, a perusal of ATL today would require one to believe the only issues this country faces include ditzy, unemployed attorneys and typical pc musings about every person in the world feeling good about his/herself.

But alas this is not where we stand today. No, instead we are a country of lemmings who would gladly follow a demagogue over the cliffs of reform to an America where everyone would live happily forever after with free health insurance an no responsibility.

Congratulations, ATL.

This reminds me of something amazing I noted in reading the obituary today: everyone died in alphabetical order.
