Don't talk smack about Kwame's demise! Like all great civil rights leaders, he's being removed from power before his work was done. The torch will be picked up by the citizens of Detroit and his fire will burn bright! You can jail a person, but you can't jail an ideology.

From the CNN article:

"Jamie Rosales, the boy's 20-year-old mother, believes the death was possibly caused by the morbidly obese woman rolling onto the toddler, said Oscar Vega, her attorney. She faces one felony count of injury to a child, which carries a life sentence and 10,000 in fines."

#2 is right on the money. It's merely a way to punish Kwame for Obama's success.

Kwame is a throwback to the old-school corrupt politician. Bribery, police on the take, using his position as mayor to build a personal fortune and doing this all right under the nose of the public. It should be a movie.

Damn that Kilpatrick. Another corrupt Irish politician.

9, bingo, if I hadn't seen his picture, I would assume this story was about some crony of the Daley machine in Chicago.

She reminds me of someone I used to work with from Baker's Bratislava office.

Before her attorney can try out the fat defense, first they have to figure out how to get her through the door of her apartment and into the jail.

Home detention might work, if they could custom make an ankle bracelet that big.

I don't buy the rollover defense. I takes a crew of 6 to roll this woman over in bed. Without help, she would lie there like a turtle. A very large turtle.

More likely the infant was crying and fatso swatted it with a tree like arm or a hand the size of a Virginia Ham.
