"He called the judge a feminist and said her dismissal of his lawsuit was consistent with the discrimination embedded in many of America's institutions."

So if a male judge said ladies' night was OK, would he have taken it like a man? What a douche.

AmLaw doesn't point out that Parker Poe, Alston, Moore Van Allen, Mayer Brown and Womble are fucked due to this Wachovia mess. Transactional work just got a little harder in the queen city.

Did anyone see Facebook mention the whole right-wing alignment concerns? Is fbook standing to gain from McCain? I'm not trying to start any political debates here but does anybody know what that's about?

I hope the pastors succeed in ending the ban on taxing those churches. If you want to play in politics, you have to pay your property tax like the big boys.

Judge Cedarbaum's ruling is a major setback to the cause of douchebag rights everywhere. On behalf of all douchebags, I encourage Mr. Hollander to appeal.

That was a strange comment about Ullyot's "connections." I would have assumed that the AOL GC experience and the obvious intelligence were more interesting to Facebook than the party ties.

The comment on his "connections" seemed odd to me too at first, but on further reflection, I think Facebook probably isn't choosing sides politically so much as just touting the accomplishments of their new GC, who happens to have held some political appointments. If the person they hired bad been a big Democrat, they would have bragged about those connections too.
