I love how the author says to keep a pair of tennis shoes in case, "God forbid another 9/11 should happen," and then throws in "Don't forget white socks." Because the last thing any of us wants to see is someone running for her life from a flame-engulfed building while wearing black socks with her cross-trainers.

I hate ATL for posting the Gawker link. I hate Gawker more for posting the NY Mag link. And I triple hate NY Mag for publishing that crap. And I want the author to DIAF. I've now thrown up all over myself twice and it's not even eleven. Luckily I took corporette's advice and have a nice change of clothes handy for just such an emergency.
