When using a possessive form of a plural word, the apostrophe goes on the end. So a case brought by multiple firefighters is the firefighters' case. And the video purchases of multiple customers are the customers' purchases.

Why does Ashcroft's firm need 16 offices ("Ashcroft is opening a new firm with four offices in Boston, St. Louis, Austin, and Dallas")? You'd think he'd need just one in Austin, anyway.
Everything in Austin is huger. Don't even get me started on the size of things in Dallas.
I sweat when I breath.
Probably wouldn't be bad as a young associate to get in on the ground floor of something like this Ashcroft firm, but, as a conservative, if there are two people I don't respect because they're everything that's wrong with Republicans today, it's John Ashcroft and Johnny Sutton.
Sigh, in this economy, they're probably not hiring anyway.
The Ashcroft offices will be placed on the outskirts of the cities at each of the four compass points, so that when Judgement Day comes, the armies of the Lord will be spotted approaching, and the senior partners will be able to prepare for the Rapture. It will all be explained in the firm's next press release.

If so, well done. It was one of the best articles that I have read in that magazine in a while. My wife, a pediatrician, also though it was great.

Do you think Souter just hasn't read Washington v. Davis? Something something intentional discrimination actionable; something something discriminatory impact not actionable.
