Although the lead to the stripper story shoukld have included this from the article:
"It is axiomatic that 'Judge' and 'Stripper' showing up in a headline is never a good thing, especially if you happen to be the 'Judge[.]"

Torture? Fraternity hazing is worse than the interrogation techniques used by the Bush administration against terrorists. Techniques which, by the way, saved thousands of American lives.

I am currently a third year at Judge Stringer's alma mater. The BLSA renamed its chapter after him just before all this came out. The day the St. Pete Times broke the story, our dean sent out a very carefully worded, but professional email saying that there had been some accusations lodged against Judge Stringer, but Stetson was standing by its man during this difficult time. Immediately thereafter, a professor sent an "fyi" email to the entire Stetson community with a link to the story--describing the whole situation. It was really awkward.

"The state agency that oversees judges dropped misconduct charges after Stringer, who stepped down in February and draws monthly retirement benefits of $8,069, agreed never to be a judge again."
That's a little better than being a permanently deferred Big Law associate drawing half-salary for life, while living in relatively low-cost Tampa, Fla. NOT A BAD DEAL.

"Bush-era torture?" Little charged wouldn't you say? While we're on the topic, how is water-boarding torture? It, like all other methods used, is purely psychological in nature - just like the methods used in police interogations are purely psychological (recall that the police can lie to suspects about some pretty heave stuff (e.g., status of suspect's parents or victims, etc.)). It never ceases to amaze me how much you lefties are willing to side with terrorists. It's almost as if you're rooting for them. Why do you hate the U.S. so much? Why don't you just leave and move to Iran, NK, or Ven? You would be happier there, and we real Americans would no doubt be happier with you there. These are questions that have yet to be answered.
