BBPL new book.JPG* There’s a new book out on Biglaw. It’s written by the great people over at Building a Better Legal Profession, so you know it’s not some re-hashed law firm recruiting spin job. [Law Pundit]

* There are students at GW Law that have gone over 100 days without receiving their grades. It’s really hard to imagine how that can happen, though I imagine Georgetown students will have some helpful advice for their GW cousins. [Blackbook Legal Blog]

* Here’s an interview with a recruiter about what young lawyers should do in today’s market. If you read between the lines, you can see very clearly that her advice is “Flee. Abandon your posts. FLEE.” [Young Lawyers Blog]

* AIG is bailing on a bunch of its other financial obligations too. Essentially, AIG is now officially Pookey from New Jack City, without any of the charm. [TPM]

* Project Runway is moving to the Lifetime channel. I suppose this means the show will now include scenes where the models are abused by overweight husbands with glaring speech impediments. Sign me up. [Popsquire]

* Come on, the news isn’t all sad on Above the Law nowadays. Just today we ran a lovely story about joys of living in a world without borders. [Ridiculum]

* Here’s the disturbing overview of all the March carnage. [Law Shucks]
