That LLM program is pretty lame.
"Two-thirds of Americans support federal legal aid for poor people." This must be the two-thirds of Americans who don't pay any taxes and free ride on the rest of us.
Elie, Iiked all the posts you did before, about Bush Derangement Syndrome.
1, go fuck yourself.
good post about the LLM program, although it was a little repetitive. i also would not hire anybody who did the program.
Obligatory "Courtoons" fluff to round out the Non-Sequiturs. It's as if Ellie's given up.
4, we know you're upset. It's ok. It's going to be ok.
An LLM in Practical Skills is the equivalent of Failing grade on a transcript. Enrolling in the UCLA LLM program speaks volumes of the candidate's diminished capacity. Peer firm material you are not...
My friend and colleague Partner Emeritus talks a great deal about his "peer firm." I would like to clue the commenters into alittle history on how PE aka Droops gained employment at his firm.
When we were boys, both of us dreamed of becoming Senators and possibile running for President. We diverged on two very different paths, however. Droops was hindered by his ugly face, pauper father, and the development of a terrible stutter than impacted his speech. Thus, his only hope was to go to law school. I, on the other hand, graduated top of my class at a peer institution and went into public service. As I slowly climed the political ladder, PE graduated law school without any type of job. His face and speech impediment severely impacted his chances of getting a job at a "peer" firm. It was not until my father made a call that he found his job at his current firm where he became a transactional attorney never to be seen in a court room.
why is it there's no Edificial link at the top banner alongside Dealbreaker and Fashionista, only at the bottom? no love for architects?

Edificial has died. RIP.
Thank you for your amazing LLM program. Now, there is a place where we can find students willing to go to our shitty law firm. We will see you at OCI (in few years).
