Dripping liberal smugness there at all, Lat?
Don't be fooled by the robes that I got
I'm still I'm still Sonia from the Bronx
Wait, is she from the Bronx?
I stopped listening after hearing that she supported the City of New Haven.
Oh and this gem: "I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experience would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life."
And to think, I caught all that flack for supporting The Bell Curve.
8, when you judge a person not by the color of her skin but by the content of her character and actual legal experience, you are a racist.
Legislating from the bench is tyranny. If you don't understand why, you are a liberal. Another dimwitted liberal.
To the winner goes the spoils. She is qualified and is a great pick. Get over it. She will be the newest Supreme Court justice, and there is nothing conservatives can do to stop it. They are lucky he didn't nominate someone more extreme because he really could have.
11-Does that mean you supported Bork?
Sonia should totally have been given honors to write "first" on the "Who will be the first latin SCOTUS nominee?" post.
Liberals piss and moan whenever they're out of power, but when they're in power they say "We won, get over it." I mean, not just hypocrisy -- STUNNING hypocrisy.
Get ready for the backlash. Their toxic smarm and suffocating arrogance will quickly relegate the current crop of liberals to the dustbin of history.
11: great attitude.

Obama's a racist.
Almost every judge (not Thomas) is an "activist" in the sense of the word conservatives use. Bitching about activism is usually straight up bullshit (unless Thomas is involved) meant to angry up the redneck blood.
Someone tell me which party looks at people and sees members of particular races?
"Its time to nominate a Latin American."
"yeah a female one!"
Really? Why?
Because all Democrats see in people is their race.
18: Nice. Thus, relegating anyone with a problem of "activism" to the ranks of uneducated rednecks.
Color me underwhelmed.
To paraphrase Peggy Noonan (discussing McCain's selection of Sarah Palin), he went for the life narrative bullshit.
He could have gone for intellectual firepower, but he instead chose primarily based on race and gender.
21 = Captain Obvious
5 - I don't think Lat is liberal. You're confusing him with Elie.
