So, the new Vault comes out in August. But when did it go to print? Will they have considered things like Latham's Lathaming? Or will that only be evaluated for 2011?

Best quote evar:

The elder Gates told a group of nonprofit leaders in a 2005 speech that he never thought he’d be in the position he holds now. "As a father, I never imagined that the argumentative, young boy who grew up in my house, eating my food and using my name, would be my future employer," he said.

Jennifer Granholm!!!!!!!!!!! Woot woot Canadian domination continues. This is in keeping with his pick of Jody Freeman from Harvard Law:

Napolitano would not please Obama's Canadian overlords however.

Moreno would be an awesome choice. But there is no way he'll get nominated. He's way too liberal. He's like the most liberal justice on the California Supreme Court right now.

I think K&L Gates will now need to change their name to K&L Google.

K&L is a crappy law firm based in Pittsburgh. A crappy Pittsburgh law firm could never be used to leverage more global work by Preston Gates. A majority of the partner at Preston Gates failed to recognize this, agreed to a merger that tarnished a fantastic firm, and now are part of a 2nd/3rd tier Pittsburgh firm run by a W. Va. hack. The best part is that the woman who piloted Preston Gates straight into this mess left the firm a while ago.

When you hate your firm (and especially the incompetent partners running it into the ground), I find it is important to name your firm in every bitter post that you put up.

That way, each ATL page with your bitter posts shows up in google results when people search the firm's name.

Here are some interesting Thompson Hine facts:

1) Currently, only the partners have reliable secretarial support. With rampant staff layoffs, should clients expect associates not to bill for time spent doing secretarial vs. substantive work?

2) The partners are CONSTANTLY asking associates "are you SURE you billed all your time on this project?". Do clients really think that the partners are marking down bills appropriately in light of (1)?

Thompson Hine - you can trust us as much as our associates do!

Fiddy,

Don't kill the bitter Thompson Hine chick (?), I like that (s)he pisses off the homophobe/dildo person.

However, it'd be great if you shot her 8 or 9 times and paralyzed her for being annoying and repetitive.

32,

You, sir, have cut to the quick. I realize now that I will never escape the miserable life of my own creation. Thank you for this revelation.

That being the case, I will therefore redouble my efforts to make my lawfirm, Thompson Hine (in case you hadn't heard) and its partners, share my misery.

Thanks for the pep talk, I will keep at it!

Diversity mania!!!! Yeah!!! Who cares if the nominee is qualified, lets just make sure its super diverse!!! Maybe then instead of hearing cases the SC can do "Diversity Roundtables" and instead of writing opinions it can just sit around and "Celebrate Diversity"
