I wasn't around when it happened, so if I'm mistaken, my apologies, but other commenters have mentioned Lat supported Obama.

If that's true and assuming it still holds--sorry, President of the Federalist Society at Yale be damned, the man is not a conservative, at least not a committed one, and, though he may protest otherwise when it comes to a few social issues, not that much of a libertarian.
