Second!
Skanks lawyer must have failed con law.
That may be the greatest Facebook profile pic I've ever seen.
Also, I love this Strazzulo guy
I suppose I should know the answer to this already, but is The University of Iowa accredited by the ABA? A member in good standing of the American Association of Law Schools?
5, The University of Iowa is an online school not eligible for ABA accreditation. However, it is accredited by the State Bar of Iowa, so rising 2L's take the 'baby bar' and are then eligible to keep studying if they pass; upon graduation, they can sit for the state bar exam and may be able to eventually get into other jurisdictions by reciprocity. They are notorious for discriminating against 'older' applicants due to concern that they won't be able to handle running online classes, submitting grades online, etc. I would not be surprised if this morphs into a class action.
Me so Angry. Met get you!
Accreditation meme fail.
I knew it was a post by Kash as soon as I read the word "skanks." I love skanks!
6, I've never heard that. My impression was that the University of Iowa School of Law would hire any age, so long as they could manage the online classes and wanted to work for a non-ABA accredited school. Do you have a cite?
Everyone in NYC is a skank.

Yes, we get a lot of sex from our women here.

Ok, this is off-topic, but why is there no mention of last night's appearance of Ken Basin on Who Wants to be a Millionaire? The guy's a first year entertainment lawyer at Greenberg Glusker in L.A. (magna from HLS, summa from USC). It was a real heartbreaker: he sailed through the questions and was up to the $500k level when he tried to win the million by guessing at what was LBJ's fourth favorite beverage. He said Yoo Hoo, but it was Fresca. The tension before he answered made for great TV, but the wrong answer really cost him (he left with the $25k consolation prize).

I know. Your mom is exquisite in the sack. Tell her thanks!

13, Ken Basin also won the Sear's prize for having the highest GPA at HLS.
Lovely for the Justice Dept to go after the CIA. Yes, let's throw cold water on the intelligence agency when what we really need is to strengthen it.
Maybe they haven't read through the discouraging news on Above the Law, but it's pretty clear none of the writers here have recently tried to find work as a college graduate. Not easy right now.
eh, legal hiring will have picked up a lot in 2 years.
6 & 10 = Drake 2Ls.
Less than one-fifth of May 2009 College grads have found work. Thats the worst I can recall. Worse than early 1990s, late 1990s and early 2000s.
