No news re Sex and the City 2 filming at Hogan & Hartson?! It was a madhouse!! For all my fellow legal fashionistas, they're filming in midtown again today. The film set address has been on this site every day since filming started, and they seem to favor midtown and the east side:www.celebsession.com/2009/09/todays-filming-locations_03.html

So what will it actually mean if the voting population of Maine says no to gay marriage? We all know that the voice of the people is irrelevent in this debate.

Hey 5, I was hoping for a down and dirty ATL update with behind-the scenes action ;-) Like SJP hooking up with a partner or something. A girl can wish.

Is there anything more ridiculous than bar trips? Hey what's a great idea for new lawyers, some without jobs to do right now with loads of crushing debt? Take an expensive trip! wait what?

Bar trips? Why not?
To celebrate my rescinded offer, I headed for the border with my ol' lady last night.
A few chalupas later, all is right in the world.

11,
I can see the benefits of a bar trip if you plan it well. Follow me for a second:
You have no employment here or in vacation location.
You will have a certain COL either place.
You desire a place w/o distractions from family & friends.
You have no financial commitments in your home location that only benefit you by being there (ie rent & minimum utility payments).
If these describe you, why not take a bar trip? It may even be cheaper than living near school.

I (a current 1L, assuming I continue in spite of ATL's warnings) for example, am planning on staying at a Venezuelan beach condo that belongs to the parents of a friend. Rent & utilities are lower there than here, and I'd have FEWER distractions, though there would obviously be some different ones that are part of the appeal.

What about this does not sound both awesome & reasonable?
