Anonymous Wikipedia Libelist Linked to Patterson Belknap
Rush Limbaugh has been accusing Wikipedia (and others) of running a smear campaign against him. On his radio show on Tuesday, the conservative commentator said this:
If people are trying to destroy your reputation and your credibility, your life and your career by attacking you as a racist, then you have to stand up and fight that. Now, we are in the process behind the scenes working to get apologies and retractions with the force of legal action against every journalist who has published these entirely fabricated quotes about me, slavery, and James Earl Ray. I never said them. We have tracked them. We know where they came from. We don’t know the identity but we know where they came from, a single blogger who posted the stuff on my Wikipedia page in Wiki quotes, unsourced. Wikipedia says, “Well, this is in dispute.” It’s not in dispute. They were never uttered. I never said them.
People are talking about Limbaugh’s Wikipedia inaccuracies on Wikipedia.
According to anonymous commenters, some of the Wikipedia entries that Limbaugh is complaining about have been traced back to an IP address from the law firm Patterson Belknap.
More details after the jump.
According to a comment on SteynOnline (gavel bang: American Thinker Blog), some Rush Limbaugh Wikipedia entries have been made from a Patterson Belknap IP address. The firm has not confirmed this information, so right now it’s still just a widely published rumor. Here’s the comment that claims Rush’s tormentors work at Patterson Belknap:
BOGUS-QUOTES SOURCEAs I am sure you are aware, the fake Limbaugh quotes have been traced to the Rush Limbaugh Wikiquote page, dating from July of 2005 (see the following link to see when the quotes were added). The Jack Huberman book that most people source for these quotes did not come out until the following year.
The quotes were added by a user with the IP address of 69.64.213.146. This address has been used mostly to make changes to the article about Rush, but also Karl Rove, Sean Hannity, Rush, James Dobson and Sara Palin from 2005 until earlier this year.
While others have noted this in various forums, no one seems to have made the connection that this IP address is used as a gateway by the law firm Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP (see here, for example) that all users from that IP address come from the pbwt.com domain.)
Given the likelihood that Limbaugh will sue over this, I find it interesting that the source of these bogus quotes is probably a lawyer…
If it is a shared IP address, there is little chance of finding the specific individual that entered the disputed commentary, even if it is true and Patterson Belknap cooperates. We know a lot of firms use shared IP addresses, and we know many of our commenters take advantage of that to post unhelpful statements.
But Rush Limbaugh certainly deserves the protection of libel laws. We’ll see if Limbaugh asks Wikipedia or Patterson Belknap to do more to find the person that made the allegedly false entries on Limbaugh’s page.

Gavel band? Who proofreads this crap? Oh, wait, we commenters do. When does Lat start paying us?
Rush Limbaugh is a fat, racist walrus who can suck my ass!
Rush defines douche bag.
Wow, first the racist justice of the peace story tied to gay marriage. Now this post on Rush. Is it sweeps week in the legal blog community? One or two more of these posts and comment buttons are going to go berserks.
Speaking of tests, Elie, would you like to explain why you couldn't pass the NY bar exam? If you did pass the exam, why don't you show up as being admitted to practice on the NY bar online listings?
Poor Rush. The evil liberal media and the blacks. lol
I just returned from a meeting with an agency head in Trenton. Here is what I observed at the New Jersey Capitol: Commissar Obama's campaign people (about 8 of them) were there in panic mode trying to save Governor "Do as I say, not as I do" Corzine. You see it appears that Commissar Obama would construe a Corzine loss as a public rebuke of Obama's administration. New Jersey, which has been a blue state for at least the past 10 years, will in all likelihood get rid of the "tax, spend and alleged union head loving" bald oaf and embrace Chris Christie. A Christie victory will be a defeat for Obama. I cannot wait for the citizens of New Jersey to reject Corzine and Obama in a few weeks.
7,
What is there to explain? It’s hard. Sometimes people don’t pass it. I’m sure you can come up with something better to poke fun at.
Suck my ass, Mystal, you obese race bating bar failing Walrus!
[Mystal] is a fat, racist walrus who can suck my ass!
Rush acts like an asshole, and then is surprised when nobody likes him. And now, Glenn Beck is stealing his shtick and doing it better.
Wouldn't rush have to get past the NYT v. Sullivan test? This smells like a cyberslapp, especially given the likelihood of Malkin-led abuse if the wikipedia poster is identified.
I can not wait for PE to be proven wrong, once again. We'll talk after the elections, you conservative twit. If only the rumors about Obama's powers were true...you'd soon find yourself in a nice reeducation camp, my friend. Enjoy your fantasies about how much better your life would have been if McCain/Failin had won last November. Oh, but they didn't...so. suck. on. this.
Heh, I truly hope they identify and fire the motherf*cker. And hang him/her out to dry... Sure, I don't like Rush, but posting fabricated quotes on a public site is just beyond the pale. To the kid who did it: better put your insurance carrier on notice. Although I wouldn't TOUCH an action seeking to overturn the inevitable denial of coverage.
Elie - I am impressed that you have presented this story from an unbiased perspective. I was expecting the usual low-blows that accompany every other political story that you post. Maybe Lat finally sat you down and explained that not everyone is a flaming lib...
here's a joke for you guys: what's Elie's favorite Beatle's song?
Bar discipline?
First Limbaugh, then LA Justice of the Peace Bardwell...which patriot will be the next target for liberal elite lawyers in Obama's America?
I second 17. Pleasantly surprised.
Elie, are you sure he deserves protection of the law? Keep in mind he is white. Also, he is male. Also, he's rich. Also, he's a conservative.
I Am The Walrus
Wait, Limbaugh has a reputation and credibility to destroy? And this can be done by calling him a racist? Hell, I thought his whole career was built on being a racist.
Mystal is the Walrus!
Typical leftist attitudes here - Rush is a right winger, therefore no one is bothered that he is libeled. Any method OK as long as our side wins, right?
You guys are the same thoughtless robots who thought Obama deserves a Nobel for being black and elected and think the U.S. health care system is equal to the one in the Congo. Wow, has this country gone downhill since the teacher's unions took over...
can we please get something in writing where u promise that u will never reveal our true identities? thank u.

The real tragedy here is that the Patterson person could not find actual quotes from Rush to construe as racist.
There are plenty out there, even if they are not as overt as the fabricated quotes. Poor research skills.
PE...even if Corzine loses, Obama will win in 2012. Get used to the idea.
Solid, non-partisan post, Elie. And this is coming from a frequent critic of your political diatribes.
As far as the Rush critics....have you ever tried listening to the guy (and not just snippets from the lib media)?
If you haven't, try being "open minded" and sit down and listen to one of his shows. You might not agree with him on everything, but you'll understand why he is #1 on talk radio.
My suspicion is that the reflexive Rush-bashing is similar to the reflexive Scalia-bashing in law school. People automatically despise both because it is the politically correct thing to do.
But when people actually take the time to listen (or read) what Rush/Scalia have to say, they are shocked that some of their arguments actually make sense.
@29
Put up or shut up! If there are plenty out there, why don't you cite one?
Marshall Dennehey Gulf Mills to $37 k !

31 -
How about these gems from the idiot Rush:
"The NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There I said it."
"NBA basketball is the favorite sport of gangs."
PE was once a player. In 1981, he served as an informal adviser to newly elected Senator Al D'Amato. He advised D'Amato and President Reagan on federal judiciary, U.S. Marshal, and U.S. Atty appointments.
At that time, he was quite the comer. There was talk of an appointment to the federal bench, even an ambassadorship during Reagan's second term.
Not sure why he receded on the political scene. Besides attending fundraisers he had virtually no role with Bush 41 and 43. I wonder if he will become more involved now that he is scaling back his law practice.
36: How are those statements racist. I guess any comments which reference blacks are racist now.
OR, maybe he was referring to the fact that there are people involved in gang activity, murder, manslaughter, rape, etc., currently playing in the NFL and NBA. But, what do I know.
Again, how is that racist? On one side of the line you have some guys convicting of assault, murder, animal cruelty, on the other, weapon possession and rape. Is that not fair game to make a gang reference?
If you actually listened to Rush, you'd understand that he is not a racist. Rush constantly fights against policies and government programs that demean and belittle minorities.
36
And that is racist how?
It's PUSSY FART time; bitches let 'em RIP!!
36: Did he even say those things, or is this more brilliance from wikipedia.
Ah wiki, best described by Mr. Michael Gary Scott, "Wkikpedia is the greatest thing ever. Any person can can write whatever they want on there, so you know you're getting the best information available."
36
We're waiting. . . . .
36-Let me see if I follow your line of thinking:
Am I a racist if I say: "GULC is TTT"?
(Let me spell it out for you: Black people go to GULC. I've made a derogatory statement about GULC. Have I made a derogatory statement about black people?)
38 = Rush Limbaugh

45 + 46 = puppy love
I don't know if Rush is a racist but he is surely a bigot and a sexist. That is without question.

Don't know if Rush is a racist, but he is a big fat liar and a big fat idiot.

51 - I aint no libbie. But I do have a sense of humor.
I suddenly gained a whole new level of respect for the people working at Patterson Belknap...
29 et al. -
Rush has been on the air for thousands of hours talking about individualism, liberty and the content of one's character, not the color of their skin. He is for individual freedom and everyone achieving their full potential.
He shines the light on liberals that want big government to restrict individual freedom and choice. He has millions of listeners, who have millions of non-listener friends who agree with him. More Americans agree with him than liberals wish to believe. And it should be noted that liberalism is built on fraud and deception.
His program observer of many years, which is in his ear throughout the program, is black.
Unless you have actually listened to a day of Rush, your unfounded racist accusations only make you look like the uninformed kool-aid drinker that you are.
Making assertions without any facts to back it - makes for a crappy lawyer and a typical liberal.
Rush has been on the radio for years and it takes fabricated quotes to create the faux-outrage.....if any of you bashing Rush were a bit more intellectually curious (at least more so than "journalists" at CNN and MSNBC) instead of hyper-partisan the caricatures most of you are making yourself out to be would have a light bulb go off above your head.

54, if you don't think Rush talks about peoples skin color you must be insane.
The purest most high quality meat you can lay at the alter of the Right Wing Conservatives is that of the Angrus Africanus. Rush does it the hardest and the longest.
I listen to Rush almost everyday and I can tell you the man is very, very entertaining, very funny and very much a bigot and a sexist. He is a fat man with a little man with mommy or daddy issues inside. He's been beat up and he definately knows how to fight.
I like when people are presented with his most blatantly racist comments and still imagine themselves explaining it away.
"Rush was just talking about two black gangs and how they are similar to the black guys who play professional sports who are also mostly black. Him using two black gangs to describe the actions of black athletes has NOTHING to do with their skin color. It's about freedom, individualism, less government and less taxes."
58, what you're hearing is satire, which admittedly works better in print. Perhaps your liberal bias is coloring your perception.
When it comes to serious subjects and issues, you won't find a better example of fairness and equality than Rush.
Dream on, 58. Unless they started broadcasting Rush in between your Coldplay MP3s, you've never dared listen to views that threaten the crazy religion you Obots follow.
Newsflash: "Racist" is quickly replacing "Nazi" in Godwin's Law, as in, when you start calling people racist based on nothing other than them being against your utopian theology, you admit you are a pathetic loser who cannot offer anything substantive to a debate beside foamy Obot hyperbole in defense of your false religion.
Sorry, 58. There's a full transcript of the show where Rush compared the way the Chargers and Patriots behaved in a single game to a gang war. He was talking about their uncouth, violent behavior.
He never once said the word "black" or made a reference to race. When he said "Bloods & Crips," it was *YOU* who made the connection to race, and it was *YOU* who connected uncouth, violent behavior to race.
It would be funny if you idiot Communists couldn't hurt anyone but yourselves with your endless ignorance, but you retarded morons have been set loose on America, and God help us all.
61 - do you know what the Bloods and Crips are?
The demonizing of Rush is very similar to the demonizing of the Duke Lacrosse Players. Even with evidence to the contrary, the bigots insist that there is racist behavior because it fits into their "metanarrative". The theroy goes like this: Of course they are racist/sexist/homophobes because they aren't liberals/marxists therefore all of the liberal/marxists can publically lie, cheat, and make unfair and unsubstantiated accusations because their metanarrative says this type of person is "bad". Facts be damned. This compulsion is particularly curious because their metanarrative includes never generalizing about race, sex or homosexuality because it isn't "fair". Wilbon has been particularly egregious. He is the racist.
If a fact is in fact the truth, it cannot be racist. That's just the way it is. Show me a statement where he lied and just maybe I'll listen. All I'm reading here is people calling him racist but not backing it up with the facts.
62 - They are violent gangs, just like every race has produced in this country. Is Rush a "racist" against the Irish, Italians, Jews, and Russians every time he compares Democrats to mobsters too? Is he racist against the Chinese for hating Chinese Communism? Does he also hate Cubans because he hates Castro's Communism?
Oh, I know, we house negroes need to be protected from reality and hurt feelings by you "grayshush and benevlent white fokes." Oh Lawdy! Tanks fo savin' me from Rush, White Demycrat!!! I'z be gettin' back to my projeks now, massa.
Since you can never win an argument with facts, you resort to victim mode. And when nobody actually victimizes you, you lie and say they did. I never asked for your white guilt, and I sure never asked for your help dealing with the real racists, like you Commies.
64 That's what they do. Isolate and destroy. They don't have facts but believe that if they say it often enough that it will just be "common knowledge". They know they are lying but they have to make you believe their theory that marxism is good. Listen to that tape of Anita Dunn, if you only heard her you would think that Mao was a great man. The problem they have here is that millions listen to Rush everyday and he is monitored by thousands who are dying for him to say something outrageous. It never happens but they still insist that it did and pollute the facts to try to make them fit their theory.
I"ve noticed that most people carry water for Rush in regards to being called a racist but when it comes to him being a sexist and bigot - not so much.
Last week Rush ran a clip of two black ladies in Detroit who were waiting in line, to fill out applications in order to get some stimulus money. There was a local FOX report on the scene and he was obviously trying to make the ladies look bad. He asked both ladies a series of questions based around the origins of the free money they were seeking. One lady went up the government chain of command. First she said Detroit local government, then she said the federal government and then she said Obama. The other lady when from local government to Obama. She didn't know where Obama got it from and she guessed that he got it from his "stash."
Rush used these two clips to drag the entire black community through the mud. He said the people "who were mostly black" were hopeless, ignorant, lazy, dependent on Obama, etc. He then went on to say that this is exactly what Obama wanted. He wanted the entire black community to be in a perpetual dependency upon him. There was $15MM available so between the 35,000 people expected to receive money there was only $429~ available for each person. Rush called this amount a "pitance." He was disgusted that people would wait in line for this kind of money. He wondered why they all didn't just go out and get a job.
Then he went on to rant about how blacks are keeping him out of the NFL.
-58
67 - You are a perfect example of how liberals behave in the media.
Actually he played those clips as an illustration of how many black people (and others) are dependent on government for their livelihood. He DID NOT say that they were "hopeless, ignorant, and lazy." He said that Democrats have caused them to think that they are, so that they will continue to look to them for all of their needs. He went on to say how much the situation saddened him that those people are not working to reach their full potential. He specifically said that he DOES NOT believe that they are hopeless, ignorant, etc. Describing it as a pittance (note the spelling) was a reference to feudalism, not a comment about the amount of the money.
How is the reporter asking the ladies were the money came from "trying to make them look bad?"
"Then he went on to rant about how blacks are keeping him out of the NFL." - This is exactly what all of your buddies do. It's simply not true. It has no basis. You just say it and hope a few people will believe it. You are an idiot.
68, you do know we are in a recession right? There are millions and millions of people who are out of work or underemployed. Depending on the government is not something to throw in someones face - especially not during these times.
I see you ignored his statement about Obama. You don't want to deal with that disgusting aspect of the Rush mentality.
Do you know how hyperbolic this statement is: "He said that Democrats have caused them to think that they are, so that they will continue to look to them for all of their needs." You have nothing to substantiate this statement and it in and of itself is denigrating and derogatory to any fair minded Democrat.
Of course the situation saddens Rush, and even though he is an entertainer paid to support everything Right Wing, I know it is authentic.
Thanks to Media Matters who watches Rushs every step we have what he actually said about those poor people in Detoit: ""dumb, uninformed, shockingly stupid." He also called them "model citizens" in Obamas America. He also said it was "fine to laugh."
How does the 'reporter' forward the story of these poor people in Detroit by asking them where the money came from? Does he ever explain the significance of his questions and did he bother to educate eiher of the ladies? It's called "Gotcha Journalism."
So Rush didn't go on to complain about Al Sharpton and Michael Wilbon and some other black athletes and their statements against him?
"ROGULSKI: Why are you here?
WOMAN #1: To get some money.
ROGULSKI: What kind of money?
WOMAN #1: Obama money.
ROGULSKI: Where's it coming from?
WOMAN #1: Obama.
ROGULSKI: And where did Obama get it?
WOMAN #1: I don't know, his stash. I don't know. (laughter) I don't know where he got it from, but he givin' it to us, to help us.
WOMAN #2: And we love him.
WOMAN #1: We love him. That's why we voted for him!
WOMEN: (chanting) Obama! Obama! Obama! (laughing)
RUSH: Now, yes, I think it's fine to laugh. I think it's frankly fine to laugh. (laughing) It's freaking sad. Obama giving us money from his stash, that's why we love him, Barack Hussein Obama, mmm, mmm, mmm. Here's the report from yesterday, just to refresh your memory."
It is fine to laugh at that. It's easy to take things out of context and make them sound worse. I read the transcript, and as far as I can see he did not call them "dumb, uninformed, shockingly stupid." Getting your information from media matters makes you shockingly stupid, though.
It's fine to laugh at those poor people trying to get some financial assistance? Cool.
You read the Rush Limbaugh transcript and you didn't see where he called them "dumb, uninformed and shockingly stupid"? Send me the link and I will highlight it for you. The wonderful thing about these comments is that i heard them myself - live. I remember the exact way it made me feel. It was a wonderful feeling.
Media Matters has to be a liar because everyone on the Right says so. You have anything to offer besides your snide remarks? Probably not.
Here is a tell-tale sign Media Matters is on point: Rush ain't suing them! Hahahahhaha.....you are pathetic.
Oh and I have yet heard any of you Rush water carriers explain his statement about Obama wanting black people to depend on him. What about Rush saying Obama wants to destroy America and that Obama is an Oreo or Half-rican or Magic Negro (oh, it's satire), Stimulus bill is about reparations, etc.
Nope, Rush isn't a racist, he just really sounds like one.
#71: Yes, mocking stupid parasites is not only correct, it's the First Amendment.
Those parasites are stealing money from people who earned it, and Obama is using stolen money to play messiah and buy votes, plain and simple. That these parasites happen to be black or women is secondary to those facts. There are plenty of socialist spongers of every race and sex ruining this nation with their sloth and greed for the earnings of others, and we despise them all equally.
Yes, those people in Detroit are very poor and exceedingly stupid; because a once-thriving, industrial, capitalist Detroit became a socialist cesspool of grim public schools, lazy union goons, and lazier welfare leeches, thanks to you corrupt Democrat thieves.
BTW, Rush lifted the term "Magic Negro" from an article written by David Ehrenstein for the LA Times, retard. If you had a brain, you might be relevant.
"It's fine to laugh at those poor people trying to get some financial assistance? "
No. It's fine to laugh at people that lack an even rudimentary understanding of American Civics. It's also fine to laugh at people that lack an even rudimentary ability to analyze people's statements objectively, especially lawyers. (laughing).
"Oh and I have yet heard any of you Rush water carriers explain his statement about Obama wanting black people to depend on him. What about Rush saying Obama wants to destroy America and that Obama is an Oreo or Half-rican or Magic Negro (oh, it's satire), Stimulus bill is about reparations, etc."
Okay. I'll explain.
Obama does want black people (and everyone else) to depend on him. If he didn't, he wouldn't tell them that they should. That's easy. Why would he tell them to if he didn't want them to. Duh.
Many in the "black community" do in fact view Obama as the "magic negro." Since you probably don't know, Rush didn't invent the term. It has a specific and well-defined meaning. It was brought to the fore by an LA Times article. His song made fun of the article.
Obama has spoke on numerous occasions about "bringing about redistributive change," and "returning the nation's wealth to its rightful owners." About the stimulus bill specifically, he said many times in several different ways that they were giving money to "those that deserve it, not wall street fat cats."
73,
Paltry partisanship is what is ruining this country. Easiest way to take advantage of the American people is to create hatred between the populace, while the politicians and lobbyists of both parties screw us.
Unions hurt detroit. Detroit hurt detroit (i.e., the riots that caused the money to flee the city). But don't forget NAFTA - which was promoted by Clinton and Bush Sr.
"For Immediate Release September 14, 1993
REMARKS BY PRESIDENT CLINTON,
PRESIDENT BUSH, PRESIDENT CARTER, PRESIDENT FORD,
AND VICE PRESIDENT GORE
IN SIGNING OF NAFTA SIDE AGREEMENTS
....I believe that NAFTA will create a million jobs in the
first five years of its impact. And I believe that that is many more jobs than will be lost"
NAFTA - epic fail for the Americans people.
73, you obviously have no concept of this nations tax code. If you don't like the current structure why didn't your people do anything when your regime was in power? Tick-tock, tick-tock.
You have to be a big stinking POS to call poor people parasites during a historical recession. Congrats to your momma.
"Boy, we HATE poor unemployed people! They make me sick! Let's just lower the minimum wage and then we can put them to work." Of course those people will be still working-poor because you pay them enough to live and stay employed. "But, I am the boss. That's my right, to pay them whatever I want to pay them." You're right, but don't complain when they come through your window or back door to make up the difference - it really makes you sound stupid.
Wow, you're pretty good at regurgitating Rushs talking-points. I'm proud of you. But have you ever taken the time to see if any of the things you've mentioned SIGNIFICANTLY contributed to the demise of the entire city?
Here, I will explain it to you as best I can - I am a young person and as far as I remember the American car was, like you, a POS. Cadillacs had the worst engines. Fords were only considered useful for 4 years and Chevy's were generally o.k. cars. Japanese made cars on the other hand - totally different - exceedingly better. The 20+ year trend of American non-exceptionalism vs the Japanese is what killed Detroit. How do you let a foreign company come and make a better product in your own back yard? I guess it was the fault of those people in line right? They F'ed themselves, right?
Here is a great article from someone on the front lines explaining everything: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122488710556068177.html#articleTabs%3Darticle Educate yourself - POS.
74 & 76, you're just stupid. Does a person have to invent a term in order for his use of the term to be considered racial, derogatory or just plan stupid?
When, in the history of mankind, is ownership of a term necessary before someone can be considered a racist for using it? I guess the guy from the LA Times told Rush that he need to have a song written and that he needs to play that song every chance he gets.
I guess if someone calls Obama the N-word it's o.k. for Rush to repeat that persons words and not himself be implicated as a racist - just merely a parrot. Oh, he has to be quoting a term from an article explaining why Obama is a N-word and THEN it will be o.k. for Rush to repeat it.
Why do you guys let Rush mush your brain so much that you allow him to get away with an excuse you wouldn't let a seven-year-old use?
"But, Tommy said it first!"
76, it was on ONE occassion when he said: "You know, maybe I'm showing my bias here as a legislator as well as a law professor, but, you know, I'm not optimistic about bringing about major redistributive change through the courts. You know, the institution just isn't structured that way."
And here is what Rush said: "And the objective is to take the nation's wealth and return to it to the nation's, quote, "rightful owners." Think reparations. Think forced reparations here if you want to understand what actually is going on."
Rush never said where he got the quote "rightful owners" from. It's probably in his best interest.
And give me two different examples of each: Obama saying he wants blacks to depend on him and one example of a black saying they want to depend on Obama.
It's becoming exceedingly apparent that not only is Rush a racist but so are most of you defending him.
79 - It's not okay to say it just because someone else did. You're not smart enough to get the point, so I'll try to spell it out for you. When some one writes something in a paper that is extremely racist and Rush says "Why is nobody talking about that? It's inappropriate and I'm going to call attention to it," that's okay. In fact I think it is desirable to speak up against people who stoke racial tensions.
Unless you made up that quote (like a good liberal), Obama said that at least twice, because he also said this: "One of the tragedies of the civil rights movement was that the civil rights movement became so court focused, I think, there was a tendency to lose track of the political and organizing activities on the ground that are able to bring about the coalitions of power through which you bring about redistributive change."
1st example of a black [sic] who depends on Obama:
“I won’t have to worry about putting gas in my car. I won’t have to worry about paying my mortgage. Ya know. If I help him, he's gonna help me."
2nd example of a black [sic] who depends on Obama (this one's pretty obvious):
Obama! Obama! (laughing)
It's sad how easy it was to find those. Usually this is the kind of thing that is inferred. In this case people actually just come out and say it.
Juan williams on Fox News sunday just went to bat for Linbaugh and also exposed the hypocrisy in football and the double standard extant by Olberman doing football commentary. It is worth watching later, it is very rare when the entire panel loudly exhales in unison. Williams is a good fair man.
78 LOL! You're joking, right? Every time Republicans tried to lower taxes and cut-off welfare to help moral, hard-working people keep the money they earn, you greedy freaks started screaming "CORPORATIONS!!!" at the top of your retarded lungs. The thought of getting a job scares you lazy criminals to death.
You also act like these welfare parasites were invented last week, which is typical Democrat "the world just blinked into existence today" nonsense. Everyone knows those women are 6th, 8th, maybe 12th-generation welfare bums. They have never worked a day. They have been drags on society for decades, like every other Democrat voter since the "New Deal." Parasites one and all, and the fact that you advocate crime or welfare instead of working for a living is just more proof of what immoral scum you Democrats really are.
79, Nobody here is racist but you. We are all judging people based on their behavior, i.e., those that would gladly take money they did not earn, and then not only bless the man who stole it so that he could buy their votes and adoration, but then loudly accuse the people who were robbed of racism because they protest the theft.
If you can't see that, but instead believe that we all would overlook the same criminal behavior if a lilly-white hand was committing the same crimes, it is obvious you have been consumed by your hatred of white people, especially those whites who do not worship your messiah of crime.
80 - you're pretty pathetic. You really are special. How are you going to try and re-package the Magic Negro song when the original article is available and the lyrics to the song are also available? Go read both of those documents and then come pack and preach to me about the racial injustice Rush is trying to root out of our society one disgusting parody at a time. Because writing and producing parodies making fun of Al Sharpton is the only way to "call attention," to the "extremely racist" issues in our society.
On one had you imagine yourself a genius on the other you're going to accept the figurative ranting of one lady as proof that black people "depend" on Obama. Your second quote was just as weak. Based on your reasoning anyone that accepts applies for money from the GOVERNMENT is dependent upon Obama. Do you realize how stupid that is? Of course you do, but you're trying to make a point so you ignore it.
82, Let's just imagine that George Bush had a big ol' bag of political capital, lets says, after 9/11. Instead of trouncing on the Constitution every chance he got he could have destroyed any entitlement program and change any tax rule he wanted to under the guise of protecting the country and restoring order to society. What better excuse of getting rid of entitlement programs than the freeze in the markets due to the attacks?
Could it be George Bush would have never gotten rid of any entitlement programs or changed our tax rate because Red States receive the most of Americas tax dollars? http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/1388885
Basically any change in the tax rate will send the Red States straight down the toilet.
82, wow, your racism is really showing. Did some black guy cut you off in traffic? You know so much about these ladies. And the only thing you have to support your assertion that these ladies are 6th to 12th generation welfare parasites are those interviews, their skin color and the fact that they are in line trying to get some extra money. All of which makes you a racist, sexist idiot. Again, congrats to you mother.
82, when did I "advocate crime?"
83, in case you haven't realized EVERYONE takes money they haven't earned. So what makes these people any different? Corporations, whites, blacks, rich people and poor people. Let's not say you don't like them because they are taking free money (of course no money is free) just say you hate them because they live in Detroit and vote Democrat and have a lot of melanin in their skin.
Again, if you don't like our tax structure or you don't like the acts of the Federal government don't blame these poor people for it. You're misplacing your aggression - go to the real people with the real power, get on your soap-box and talk to them through your bull-horn. Talking down to poor people is a waste of time because if you had kids to feed you'd do anything you could. Unless of course you're as I suspect, a loser.
83 - obviously you don't realize that welfare, as effective a tool used to malign the black community, is NOT exclusively a black privilege. Whites take more welfare dollars than any other group COMBINED so go cry to your cousins about the crimes they are perpetrating against humanity.
http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,974473,00.html Classic article breaking down you honkies.
Let it be known: I LOVE white people.
84 - I didn't say that the song was the only way to call attention to it. No one did. It was a great way though. I guess you should be in charge of deciding in what way people are allowed to raise social issues . . .
As for the second part, you asked for two examples. I obliged. If you are not the one that asked for them, why are you addressing me in your post?
Lastly, learn to be succinct. It's an important skill.

78/84:
"Boy, we HATE poor unemployed people! They make me sick! Let's just lower the minimum wage and then we can put them to work." Of course those people will be still working-poor because you pay them enough to live and stay employed. "But, I am the boss. That's my right, to pay them whatever I want to pay them." You're right, but don't complain when they come through your window or back door to make up the difference - it really makes you sound stupid.
-- Sounds to me like you are saying that it is okay for these people to break in 'boss-man's' house to make up for being underpaid (i.e. "advocating crime"). Well, atleast you are saying the "boss" doesn't have a right to complain when he pays someone market rate for their skills (or lack there of).

86, citing an eventuality and advocating crime are two different things jack-arse.
