You're better than this. At least one or two of you are.

So, if someone recognizes the conflict between same-sex marriage and religious liberty somewhere, and elsewhere signs a petition that advocates the recognition of “[c]ommitted, loving households in which there is more than one conjugal partner" as a "family unit," it's a "smear campaign" to seek clarification?

Isn't that a reasonable inference to draw - that if someone supports "loving households in which there is more than one conjugal partner," they support polygamy?

Apocalypto was one of the best movies made in recent years. It's worth renting.

9 and 10 both have valid points in that some clarification is needed. The assumption, however, that the right-wing media is intellectually or analytically capable of clarifying this document and this sentence and offering a somewhat neutral assessment is beyond the realm of possibility.

Another thumbs up for Apocalyto. Only a douche would give that movie a bad review. If you want to slam a Gibson movie, try something with Danny Glover in it (douche).

Elie - when did this blog become just a liberal mouth piece. We already have a huffington post. Your bias is so bad that I am considering banning myself from a site I used to enjoy. So the BC professor is a bigot but this EEOC candidate is the victim of a smear campaign. Heavens to mergatroid.

Question about this whole "law school rankings" thing. Outside of the top, say, 20 schools, are firms even aware of the rankings? I only ask because on several occasions I have been told by partners at firms in the area that my school, along with another school ranked in the 40s, is seen as an equivalent to a third school, ranked in the 90s. I wish I would have known this because I would have gone to the school ranked in the 90s on a major scholarship while still having the same job prospects (read: none). Is there a plateau where everything just drops off? If so, where is this plateau?
