Forget about Restatement 90. How about initiating an "honest services" prosecution? Soon. Before the Supreme Court (hopefully) performs a smack-down on the statute.
Wrong "Posted in" tags, Laurie.
END THE SCHTICKS !!!
Elie - Can we place a limit on acceptable schticks? I say once a week we vote a schtick off the island until we reach some arbitrary number like 14.
Certain schitcks are annoying but mainstays: Partner E.;
Others are annoying but possibly helpful: Restatement 90 folks;
Some are timely: the guillotine guy and Michael Ray; and
Others are pure classics: Frat Stud.
However, we have reached saturation and what the hell are the dudes from Spinal Tap and the Aflack duck doing on a legal board?!
3 - Huh?
Yes - I know that Lat composed today's morning docket.

Four fricken years for a DWI with someone less than 15 years old in the car? How the hell am I supposed to date?

What's my schtick? I'm just commenting.
Quack.

Iron Eagle was a very well thought out and put together movie.
4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42
4, you're really gonna hate the schticks when I rip off your head and shit down your neck!
9. I totally agree. It's very realistic for a single F-16, piloted by a 17 year old, to bring an entire middle eastern country to it's knees. Happens every day. Everyone knows that F-16s have unlimited ammo like my old nintendo Top Gun game.
Mid-November and no bonus announcements other than Cravath and Cleary? C'mon! More bonus news now! We at follower firms need critical mass!
Iron Eagle, prepare to die!
4 - Guys at my high school used to create schticks all the time. It was no big deal
I find it moderately amusing that "end the shticks" is becoming a shtick.

@4,
I have no idea what you're talking about.
But what I do know is that $100 billion in improper government payments is only .027% of fiscal year 2009's budget of $3.7 trillion. No big deal.
But what is a big deal is Gitmo. Close it down, transfer the freedom fighters to New York, and put on the show.
EQUALITY SECURE
Excuse me, that should be 2.7%. Still no big deal.
No § 90 claim but Obama may be liable under a Good Samaritan statute.
5 - It's been subsequently changed and the comment not deleted. The tags seemed to have been copied from one of her previous wedding posts (probably were default from her previous post and she didn't change them when she put this together).

13 - The news is that there are no bonuses.
This new DWI law makes no sense at all. Driving drunk is just as dangerous, if not more dangerous, for the pedestrians and other motorists on the road as it is for the passengers in the car. This is basically saying that if you run over a stranger it's not as big a deal. I guess that's why Dante Stallworth only got 30 days.
GOP and Hamilton Situation >>>> Dems and Estrada
"Judge David Hamilton (S.D. Ind.), nominated to the Seventh Circuit, will (finally) be put to an up-or-down vote in the Senate today."
“Everyone who takes a drink and gets behind the wheel is going to think twice about driving whether there are children in the car,” Mr. Rosado said."
With all due respect to the child's bereaved mom, if the specter of a murder rap does not deter a felony DUI , a conviction will?
