The University of Maryland Eastern Shore School of Law was founded in 1925 and accredited in 1988. As for Maryland's third law school this is what happened. In 1981 the Chesapeake Bay School of Law was founded as a private, non-profit law school but they never were able to gain accreditation. In 2007 the University of Maryland System decided to take over CBSL and rename it the University of Maryland School of Law. I love how top 10 law school graduates, working as mid-level associates in big law, with no work to do, sit on ATL, and insult lower ranked (but still quality) law schools. I think these guys are upset because they've realized that they are the same associates who will soon be fired and replaced by newer and cheaper graduates. Whatever gets you through your day.
