Caption Contest Finalists: 'Linen Closet Associates'

Last week, we asked for possible captions for this strange photo:

Vote for your favorite from the eight funny finalists, after the jump.

We chose the eight finalists by selecting those with the most “likes” on the Disqus commenting system. To make the top eight, a caption needed at least 15 “likes.” Here they are:

A. From the UCLA career services office: “The head maid recently was granted a green card. She is happy to discuss the process and/or answer any questions you may have. This is a good opportunity if you are thinking of getting into immigration law or even just to learn more about what it is like to be a client.”

B. Firms desperate to find ways for female associates to make partner, despite lack of business development abilities. “Can’t make it rain? Then make the bed,” says one BigLaw managing partner.

C. Even though he had been Lathamed the year before, the ex-attorney and new Best Western janitor won the concession of still being called “associate.” It was a hollow victory.

D. I hear they’re hiring lawyers at the prestigious firm of Bedstein, Bathus, and Beyond.

E. Still, it at least has a small window and a working coffee maker; you should see where the linen closet staff attorneys work.

F. At Skadden’s New York office, Associates have access to the finest 1000-thread count sheets with which to cover their in-office cots.

G. Apologizing for the confusion, the firm’s HR department issued a grammar correction in its new dress code policy. Should read, “Linen: Closet Associates Only.”

H. “Mom, you’ll never believe it…I got a call back from Holiday Inn and they said I got the In-house position!!!”

Now that you’ve seen the options, here is the poll:
