Thanks to all the Above the Law readers who responded to the request from Chief Judge Alex Kozinski, of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Chief Judge Kozinski sends his gratitude, along with an update….

Here’s the message from Chief Judge Kozinski, reprinted with his permission:

We’ve gotten numerous photos in response to your call from such diverse places as Lake Placid, Indianapolis, Tallahassee and Chicago — and many, many others. They’re still coming in and we’ve very grateful.

The pictures are being posted on the website on a rolling basis. Almost all of the pictures posted [recently] are from ATL readers.

I may not have mentioned earlier that we are planning to prepare a book of all the pictures to present to the Roll family, to show the affection and respect that we all felt for Chief Judge Roll. We hope this will be a small comfort to them in their profound grief.
