Lawyerly Lairs: Cravath Cribs (Part 1)(A non-partner's million-dollar penthouse.)

Partners at Cravath, where profits per partner exceeded $3 million in 2010, are definitely in the top 1 percent. But it seems that even non-partners are doing nicely for themselves, despite all the bonus bellyaching. Check out the million-dollar penthouse -- yay real estate porn! -- of one of Cravath's corporate lawyers. And she's not even a partner....

The Cornwall is located at 255 West 90th Street (at Broadway), in the heart of the Upper West Side. Carter Horsley of the Upper West Side Book praises the “lively” neighborhood, which boasts numerous restaurants and stores, as well as easy access to mass transit (at 86th Street, where there’s both subway and bus service).

The edifice itself, built in 1909 and designed by Neville & Bagge, is described by Horsley as “one of the city’s finest architecturally, because of its very ornate and spectacular roofline, which is perforated with bold Art Nouveau style detailing.” Check it out:
