Who Are America’s Best-Paid General Counsel? (2012 Rankings)

Who are the highest-earning general counsel in all the land? Check out these new rankings.

This year, Corporate Counsel revised its table, reformatting it in a way that makes it less user-friendly (in our opinion). We took the liberty of taking the data and putting it back in a format closer to the ones used by the magazine in prior years.

Here are the top ten best-paid general counsel for 2012, according to Corporate Counsel. They are ranked based on total cash compensation for 2011, which includes salary and bonus compensation.

(The rankings also provide information on stock options exercised and stock value realized, which gets added to cash compensation to generate a total take-home pay figure. But the rankings themselves are based on cash comp, not total take-home pay.)
