The Best Law Firm Offices in America: The Finalists!
Here are the finalists for our contest to find the Best Law Firm Offices in America.
3. Calfee, Halter & Griswold: We received two nominations for Calfee, Halter & Griswold, a corporate law firm with more than 150 attorneys in three Ohio locations (Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati). Both of them praised the firm’s Cleveland office:
“The building is quite impressive and makes the long days a bit less painful. Plus, it is another step in the right direction for downtown Cleveland.”
“This is not my law firm, but I attended a cocktail party at the grand opening of their new office. It is a Cleveland firm named Calfee that moved into a historic old building. The attached document shows the befores and the afters. The facility is breathtaking.”
Both attached this brochure, which contains numerous photographs of the office, before and after the renovation. Here’s the exterior:

Behold the vast lobby, which looks like it belongs to a bank rather than a law firm (note the conference rooms flanking the entrance):

This modern and cheery room is called a “Collaborative Space.” (Elie: “What the heck is that? Do they also have a Confrontational Space?”)
And private offices (which, to be honest, aren’t as amazing as either the building architecture or the public spaces). Here’s a partner office:
