The Best Law Firm Offices in America: The Finalists!

Here are the finalists for our contest to find the Best Law Firm Offices in America.

5. Fish & Richardson: Unique — or creepy? You be the judge. From the nomination blurb:

For the Lawyerly Lairs Contest, I’d like to nominate the Dallas office of Fish & Richardson, which is home to one of the country’s largest collections of Batman memorabilia and an array of impressive works of art from some of the world’s most in-demand artists. The Dallas office’s fascination with “The Dark Knight” and high-end works of art can be traced to firm principal Steve Stodghill, a self-proclaimed Batman fanatic who also is integrally involved in the Dallas art community. Steve recently hosted 300 guests for a private screening of “The Dark Knight Rises” that took place five hours before the movie premiered in theatres nationwide. Steve negotiated the early screening with Warner Bros. and representatives from the host theatre.

That’s the background. On to the photos:

Batman Conference Room — These two photos from the firm’s “Batman Conference Room” show countless pieces of original artwork, toys and other collectibles that feature Batman, Superman and various other superheroes. This space has become so popular that many clients specifically request the room for their meetings with firm lawyers.

Holy Disposable Income, Batman!

Stodghill Office Entry — This is a life-size replica of Batman himself, guarding the door to Mr. Stodghill’s office. This piece was commissioned through Germany’s Muckle Mannequins.

Library Heroes — Unused shelves in the firm’s library are home to larger-than-life-size busts of Batman, Thor, The Hulk, Superman and other comic book crime fighters and villains. Fish & Richardson associates joke that these busts are in charge of protecting the firm’s periodicals.

Wow, that’s a lot of old newspapers. Who says print is dead?

The Dallas offices of Fish & Richardson have a cluttered charm that’s reminiscent of a fanboy’s childhood room. The next competitor, an office full of clean lines and abundant light, couldn’t be more different….
