Caption Contest Finalists: Law School Has Gone to the Dogs

Did this law school admit a dog as a student? Check out the finalists in our latest caption contest!

Last week, we asked readers to submit possible captions for this photo:

Let’s have a look at what our readers came up with, and then vote on the finalists….

Here are the finalists (some captions that received the most “likes” from readers in Disqus, mixed with some underrated captions that received the most “likes” from yours truly):

A. Well, yes, I know I look like a golden retriever. But technically my breed is descended from African hunting dogs. So, no, I don’t think it was unethical to check that box on my application.

B. It’s impossible to focus on torts when I can lick my own junk… talk about an attractive nuisance.

C. New Cooley ranking: #1 in Diversity of Species.

D. The only student to ever admit everything just clicked when his property professor used the phrase “bundle of sticks.”

E. Law schools are the new puppy mills.

F. “You think your debt is bad, try twenty-one years of tuition!”

G. UVA got jealous of Michigan Law’s status as the go-to law school for aspiring sheep farmers and started admitting students with herding experience.

H. I told Career Services that my master pays me treats for obeying his commands. After cheerfully whispering to each other something about “employed at graduation,” they enrolled me on the spot.

I. Not all dogs go to heaven; some go straight to hell: UVA Law.

J. It would appear that Cameron Knight wasn’t the only dog frequenting law school libraries.

K. The Westminster School of Law was the latest to receive ABA approval.

L. Lassie: she’s a law school “10.”

Please vote for your favorite caption in our poll, which will be open through TUESDAY, DECEMBER 18, at 11:59 PM (Eastern time). Thanks!
