Caption Contest Finalists: Choose Your Own Bar Exam Adventure

This is perhaps one of our of most ironic caption contests ever, and it's time to vote for your favorite.

Last week, we asked readers to submit possible captions for this photo:

Let’s have a look at what our readers came up with, and then vote on the finalists…

Here are the finalists (some captions that received the most “likes” from readers in Disqus, mixed with some of the more underrated captions that received the most “likes” from yours truly):

A. The answer to the riddle “how can two seemingly disparate choices each lead you to a room filled with douchebags?”

B. Dear Berkelee, I am writing to request a refund for Tuesday’s classes, which I attended in reliance on an implied promise of meal service. To my disappointment, however, no pancakes were served at the International House.

— E. Mystal

C. “Curse you, Robert Frost.”

D. “…you selected to turn to page 85. You wake up with your head on your desk, having not gone home for 4 days. A partner is yelling at you about billable hours from the doorway as the phone rings. It’s Sallie Mae asking where their money is. As you draw the letter opener across your veins you remember a sign you once saw in a hotel lobby. THE END.” (Disclosure: This caption was submitted by ATL Assistant Editor Joe Patrice.)

E. Today’s topic in both: no-fault divorce.

F. Res ipsa loquitur.

G. To much dismay, the person who gave the “Creating a Fulfilling Life” seminar is Dean Lawrence Mitchell, who begged each audience member for about $200,000 while arguing that the path to lifelong fulfillment leads through Case Western Reserve University School of Law.

H. So studying for the bar exam takes at least 12 hours over multiple days, but Creating a Fulfilling Life can be done in an hour and half?

Please vote for your favorite caption in our poll, which will be open through WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12, at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern time). Thanks!
