Let’s have a look at what our readers came up with, and vote on the finalists…

Here are the finalists for our latest caption contest, which were pretty great (a few with the most “likes” from readers in Disqus, and a few underrated captions that received the most “likes” from yours truly):

A. In forma pauperis, in the form of a hippopotamus.

B. She heard that D.C. had many feeder judges, unfortunately she’s at the wrong courthouse and lacks an understanding of what a “feeder” is.

C. Though much easier, the Where’s Elie? series of books never really took off.

D. In fairness to pro se litigants, the requirement that they file their briefs can be confusing.

E. The scales of justice have a weight limit, apparently.

F. Due to gravitational forces, Elie and Staci have merged. The combined entity still cannot go inside and practice law.

G. No shirt, no shoes, no justice.

H. With law school enrollment down, the Superior Court Judges can’t be as selective about their clerks.

I. Apparently she lost the suit.
