Thanks To D.C. For Another Great Night Of Trivia

Washington-area students turned out in droves to eat, drink, and try to win some sweet prizes.

Thanks again to everyone who came out to the ATL/Kaplan Bar Prep trivia night in D.C. last week! Students from all across the Washington area descended on The Bier Baron to vie for honor and technological goodies provided by our sponsors from Kaplan Bar Review. Oh, and even those who couldn’t succeed at trivia still got free food and some booze, because a trivia night is never a total loss.

If you’re a law student wondering when we’ll make it to your town, be patient. I know of a couple of locations we’re planning to hit in the next few months.

So let’s recap our D.C. extravaganza and check out some pictures of the action…

As I said, it was a packed house with representation from Georgetown, George Washington, Howard, American, George Mason, and Catholic.

Since we’d already regaled D.C. with some trivia about the District the last time we were there, this time we asked about Maryland and Virginia so our competitors can know something about the states where they’ll be admitted and then never work in. Then we passed around a picture round with more stills from courtroom dramas. Next, a category about the Supremes — pretty much every “Supreme” but the Supreme Court, that is.

Finally, we redid the legally themed Jeopardy-style “Before and After” round we used at our last Boston event. The Boston crowd had a rough time of it. The Washington schools can be proud that they performed much better. Challenge is on, Boston.
