In The Business Of Document Review, Contractors Lose

Do you want a job? Well, you have 45 minutes to apply.

Hello –

We have an immediate short-term, document-review project downtown, expected to start this Wednesday, May 7.
We will be submitting an initial (and perhaps final) wave of resumes TONIGHT, on a rolling basis, so please reply ASAP if available and interested.

Must be licensed in good standing in California.

Pay is $35/hour.
Parking is not being provided.
The best estimate for duration of this project is approximately 2 weeks.
(This project could lead to further opportunities at the firm, which hires contract attorneys regularly.)
The schedule is expected to be Mon-Fri, 8 hours/day, during normal business hours.

If you are interested in being considered for this project, please reply by “REPLY ALL” with the following information:

(1) an updated resume in MS-Word format (if possible, please send us your resume with the following information “Submitted by Lexolution, LLC (310) 461-1470” in place of your personal contact information, and please save/title the resume as “[last name][first name]1”, so, for example, my resume would be titled “RedactedRecruiter1”):
(2) confirm that you are licensed and active to practice in California;
(3) advise of any actual or potential scheduling issues (including any travel plans or any other pending opportunities) in the next 2-4 weeks which could conflict with your availability;
(4) confirm that you could (and would, if selected) begin this project any day this week after Tuesday.

(Please note that any prior work for Quinn Emanuel will automatically conflict you out of this case, so please do not submit for this project if you have worked for Quinn at any point in time. We can always consider you for the next one.)

If you are interested, we will send you a conflicts list to review and reply to. (You will not need to complete a conflicts form; we will only need an email response to the list we send you.)

Again, please be sure to reply by “REPLY ALL”.

Feel free to forward this email to any friends who are licensed in CA, who are registered with Lexolution, and whom we may have missed on this list (and when they write us, they should confirm that they are already registered with us).

Thanks!
